The KP-17 features a polymer pistol frame has been known for years before the introduction of the similar pistols that uses polymer body; automated safeties built into the trigger were known from the 1930s (Sauer Model 30 pistol), and pre-cocked firing pins from the first decade of the 20th Century (Roth-Steyr M1907). Lets talk about the ergonomics ? the KP-17 pistol was originally designed for Army use, and was intended to be an ?one size fits all? proposition. In fact, the square-shaped grip of the typical full-size KP-17 is of less than ideal shape, at least for many shooters.

This Kp-17 is a worthy replica of the real deal, combining excellent mechanics with the authentic-looking aesthetics of the exterior. As you would expect from KJ Works, this is a well-built gas blowback pistol, which is mechanically and physically very solid. Hard-kicking blow back system makes you feel pleasant to shoot it. Internal hammer system allows the gun to be pre-cocked for instant shooting. The trigger design means that accidental discharge is prevented unless you deliberately pull the trigger with your finger. One of major changes i features is a steel slide which allows a stronger recoil from every shot..

The hop-up dial can be adjusted once you take apart the slide. Disassembly is exactly like the real thing. Pull down on the disassembly lever and move the slide forwards off the frame. The hop-up dial is located on the barrel assembly which is visible after you remove the slide. Available in Black or Tan and in Gas or CO2 variants.

The Hi-Capa 5.1 is very an extremely capable and accurate pistol that makes it one of the most popular in Airsoft. It is hands-down the most reliable gas blowback pistol of all time - and there is good reason for that! It's no wonder that so many custom guns are based on the Hi Capa platform and most competition shooters will not shoot anything else. Metal parts included : recoil spring guide rod, nickel plated hammer, adjustable rear sight, front sight, magazine catch, magazine, and frame with an ABS grip. The barrel is also handsomely nickel plated. Good for 300fps when using Green Gas, but many upgrades are available for this pistol that you can reach higher power with some modificaitons! The Hi-Capa series from Marui have been the perfect base gun for "tinkering around" with, as there are plenty of after-market parts for it. Tokyo Marui of Japan offers arguably the best Model 22 GBB pistol on the market so it goes without saying that many Airsofters have been waiting for its release since Marui announced the Model 22. Tokyo Marui does not disappoint.

On green gas / propane this little beastie clocks in at around 325 fps out of the box; on single it shoots crisp with a nice cycle action and well balanced kick energy but even on HFC134 gas it will clock a tad weaker and cycle slower but still manage full cycling very quickly and smoothly. Marui pistols are also the most accurate on the market out of the box, and this model is no exception.

Like classic TM gas weapons, the Model 22 cycles perfectly fine on HFC134 / duster gas - as that is technically its originally intended gas propellant. (it's the only legal gas in Japan, it's home market). But in recent years TM has gone a step further by reinforcing their guns to be more robust, guarding against the rigors of high wear use so much so that it can handle the increased pressure load of green gas / propane / Top Gas. This weapon also accepts a long 50-round magazine (sold separately from Marui) which can also handle HFC and Green gas loads fine.

As a TM gun of course it is available in one grade of quality, supreme; with the highest standards in the industry, TM rolls out yet another pistol of top notch quality. As a TM weapon we would like to say it offers a high compatibility with parts for modification but the question of exactly which parts can and can not be fitted to this weapon is something you should ask specifically with our sales department to be absolutely sure. Tokyo Marui pistols are in need of regular maintenance due to extreme operation but this is a high quality product; if you look after her, you can be damn sure she will look after you!
