Tokyo Marui of Japan offers arguably the best Model 34 GBB pistol on the market so it goes without saying that many Airsofters have been waiting for its release since Marui announced the Model 34. Tokyo Marui does not disappoint.

On green gas / propane this little beastie clocks in at around 325 fps out of the box; on single it shoots crisp with a nice cycle action and well balanced kick energy but even on HFC134 gas it will clock a tad weaker and cycle slower but still manage full cycling very quickly and smoothly. Marui pistols are also the most accurate on the market out of the box, and this model is no exception.

Like classic TM gas weapons, the Model 34 cycles perfectly fine on HFC134 / duster gas - as that is technically its originally intended gas propellant. (it's the only legal gas in Japan, it's home market). But in recent years TM has gone a step further by reinforcing their guns to be more robust, guarding against the rigors of high wear use so much so that it can handle the increased pressure load of green gas / propane / Top Gas. This weapon also accepts a long 50-round magazine (sold separately from Marui) which can also handle HFC and Green gas loads fine.

As a TM gun of course it is available in one grade of quality, supreme; with the highest standards in the industry, TM rolls out yet another pistol of top notch quality. As a TM weapon we would like to say it offers a high compatibility with parts for modification but the question of exactly which parts can and can not be fitted to this weapon is something you should ask specifically with our sales department to be absolutely sure. Tokyo Marui pistols are in need of regular maintenance due to extreme operation but this is a high quality product; if you look after her, you can be damn sure she will look after you!

Everyone knows the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 is one of most reliable, accurate and consistent GBB pistols out there. They aren't wrong, as every manufacturing company known for making spare parts have always custom designed an accessory for the Hi Capa. Now, Tokyo Marui release their Gold Match version.

Please note that Marui wanted to keep the smooth uninterrupted look of the lower body without spoiling it with mounting holes for the RIS rail. For those who want to install the rail, Marui expects you to punch 2 holes to attach lower rail. The position of these 2 holes is already marked for you when you take the slide off the gun and look at the lower body from the inside - Please see smaller picture above.

So what has changed? The slide has new serrations that make cycling very smooth. The frame now comes with an already attached picatinny rail for accessories and a new slanted cut for aesthetics. They have extended the slide release making it easier to release the slide without having to break your hand away from a shooting position. It includes a red fiber front making easier for target acquisition.

One thing that sticks out like a sore thumb are the golden parts, such as the trigger, outer barrel, thumb safety, screws and hammer. This is purely for aesthetic reasons but it does make the Hi Capa more like an actual Race Gun.

Internally, it's very much the same. The hop up can be found once you remove the slide. In terms of accuracy, you can always expect the best out of Tokyo Marui but the Hi Capa, young and old, takes the cake. It does not have the have the hardest kick in the world but it's so incredibly snappy that target acquisition after every shot is easy.

The USP (Universale Selbstladepistole or "universal self-loading pistol") is a semi-automatic pistol developed by Heckler & Koch GmbH (H&K) of German origin and international fame. It was developed throughout the late 80s and 90s with the USP45 being released in 1995. It was designed as a competitor for the OHWS (Offensive Handgun Weapon System) requested by the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Since its introduction, it has quietly slipped into mainstream TV, Cinema and video games with numerous appearances over the years, particularly the USP Match.

This GBB pistol handles HFC134a / Duster gas as well as TOP / Green / Propane gas; obviously it will cycle cleaner and clock in higher on Green then it does on HFC but the lower pressure HFC will prove less wear and tear on the mechanism. On Green / Propane, using 0.2g 6mm BBs it clocks in at around 370-390 FPS with the first shot or two at 390 then the rest of the magazine at 380 or 370. Over 10 shots with 2 seconds between each shot it averages 370 FPS.

The confidence to run on Green / Propane out of the box, a metal slide, the sting of 370 FPS and a magazine capacity of 25 rounds makes this pistol a solid contender for an out-of-the-box skirmishable hand cannon. Although the pistols externals are mostly polymer, it is still fairly durable and is fairly hefty at around 1.1kg thanks to the metal slide and internals. With this level of power, it can also clear full length corridors and really be felt at ranges to give carbines a run for their money.

Both the Umarex USP .45 and USP .45 Match are the same base model, the main difference being the Matches addition of a competition style improvements like the compensator and flared magwell as well as the increased barrel length and FPS as well as the ambidextrous slide release. Otherwise, the pistols perform very similarly with almost entirely the same parts and running on the same magazine type.

The Heckler & Koch USP (Universelle Selbstladepistole, or "Universal Self-loading Pistol") is a semi-automatic pistol designed by the German arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch.

The first USP Compact models appeared in 1994. These are scaled-down USPs, and are available in all the same cartridges as the full size version, and additionally the .357 SIG. Due to the smaller size of the frame, magazines for the Compact variant may have a handgrip extension to better accommodate the shooter's hand. Standard flat floorplates are also available for the USP Compact magazines. The USP Compact comes standard with a bobbed hammer equipped with a flat rubber external thumb grip. This reduces possible snag from the hammer on a holster or clothing while the pistol is being drawn, but still allows the USP Compact to be cocked from a decocked position even in the absence of a spurred hammer. This can be done since decocking the weapon does not fully drop the hammer, leaving it in a somewhat "half-cocked" state. USP Compact models lack the mechanical recoil reduction system of the larger full sized USP pistols. Instead, a more compact recoil buffering system is composed of a polymer bushing, around the captive recoil spring, which is designed to absorb energy at the end of the slide's travel rearward.
